Research Interests

Vanessa’s primary interests include evaluating multisensory integration (MSI) of visual and auditory information at different periods of development in autism. Specifically, she is interested in studying whether individuals with ASD integrate auditory and visual information differently than typically developing individuals when that information is either lower level (e.g., simple beeps and flashes) or higher level (e.g., faces, voices).
