Making our way back to the lab

It is quite common for us to hear students experience anticipation throughout the school year, as they look forward to their upcoming summer vacation.  It is far rarer to hear of students looking forward to the return to an academic environment, while in the middle of the summer.

However, things at the PNLab have looked quite different for the last little while. PNLab members will, hopefully, be able to start settling back into the office.

Nevertheless, while the PNLab desks have been collecting dust over the last few months, the PNLab members have been busy at home.

Congratulations to Lisa-Marie Giorgio, PhD student for being awarded the Healthy Brains Healthy Lives Award!  Lisa-Marie will also be beginning her Field Placement with the Lester B. Pearson School Board in September at Beaconsfield High School.  We are sure the students and team there will be lucky to have her!

We are also excited for Margarita Miseros, PhD student, who is eager to begin her Field Placement with the Lester B. Pearson School Board as well, at Lakeside Academy secondary school and with the Autism Spectrum Disorder Team, Center of Excellence.

Finally, some very heartfelt congratulations to Evelyne Marcil, PhD candidate, for welcoming the newest (and tiniest) PNLab member, her daughter Rosalie, on June 28th!
