After concluding 2019 with a joyful holiday party, what has the PNLab been up to in the beginning of 2020?
This winter, the PNLab was happy to welcome Dr Daphné Sylvestre as a postdoctoral fellow who completed her PhD at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France. Her thesis centered on vision loss in healthy aging. At the PNLab, Daphné will apply her expertise as a psychophysicist by assessing atypical visual perception in autism by estimating their visual system’s internal noise using a non-invasive behavioural approach. Daphné was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Transforming Autism Care Consortium (TACC).
We also said goodbye to SCERT’s lab coordinator Andrea Guzman, who moved to British Columbia for new adventures. We were lucky to have her for several years and we wish her all the best!
Although we are all working from home at the moment, we hope for many more fun social events together in the future!
