“My Day at McGill” is a 2-day workshop for local elementary school students where they are invited to McGill campus in order to promote the communication between McGill and the larger community of Montreal. One particular project, Broad Science, holds as its purpose to make science accessible to all. Last April, Broad Science teamed up with CKUT 90.3FM to give the students the opportunity to attend a science journalism radio workshop and interview a scientist about their work while podcasting it.
